After 4 decades of experience, it is fair to say that Wolfgang Zwiener learned his craft well. Taking the core principles from his years as Peter Luger’s head waiter, Wolfgang didn’t just duplicate an exceptional steakhouse; he improved upon it, making Wolfgang’s Steakhouse extraordinary. Not only does Wolfgang’s serve phenomenal porterhouse steak (for one, two, four or more), but the atmosphere, the expanded menu, the service and the accessibility of the location is appealing to even the most exacting diners. This Midtown steakhouse is proud to serve you with an amazing meal with the utmost in quality and service. I had dinner with 2 other friends here on Friday June 11th. Sat at table 12 which was a nice corner table and a great waiter. Dinner was excellent including my martini. I have thus decided to come back really soon and celebrate my birthday with you at table 12 on June 26th with 3 other friends at 6:30pm. See you then.
Went with some friends and their 3 yr old son who came in from out of town. We normally go to Morton’s but decided to try your place. We are now hooked. Bye, bye Morton’s and all the other steak places in midtown.. Loved my filet and the cottage fries were amazing.
Today we are ordering for lunch, can’t wait!
Ultimate Dinning Experience! I was a Sparks guy for years and living nearby figured give Wolfgang’s a try. First off the place is gorgeous, the drinks where perfect and steak was out of this world!! The service is great from the mai’tre d’ who makes you feel at home to the staff who do not let your glass stay empty for long! Wolfgang himself came around to check on his tables, Bravo well done another success sir!!
Had dinner at your Beverly Hills location last weekend and it was excellent. So much so that when I am in New York, Wolfgang;s will be my first place to dine after I get off of the plane:)
After circling the neighbourhood to find a no-wait-good restaurant for lunch, during this time of the season, I suggested we try Wolfgang’s, what a great idea! Had a lunch with my co-workers there! All other places were overcrowded, but here we felt so relaxed and did not have to wait, even though the restaurant was pretty full. I can’t say enough about the perfectly done lamb chops, creamy spinach, yum, yum and of course the service was exceptional! Thank you Edi, we will be back soon.

wir haben unser bestes Steak “forever” gegessen. Die Qualität war excellent. Wir haben uns nur gefragt, warum wir uns so beeilen mußten ? Zur Esskultur gehört ebenso dazu, daß man sich Zeit hierfür nimmt. So eine tolle Qualität und dann so schnell gegessen ? Und das sollte auch dem Service klar sein. Das Thema kann man auch bei der Bestellung schon klären. Sollte es in Amerika üblich sein, so kann man europäische Gäste auch fragen, welche Zeitvorstellungen sie haben.
Ein Punkt der mich wirklich geärgert hat ist der Ausweis der Gratifikation auf der Rechnung. Hier wird das gesamte Belohnungs-System auf den Kopf gestellt. Entweder es gibt einen monetären Anreiz zur Leistung über das Trinkgeld oder man macht gleich feste Gehälter. Aber das Trinkgeld als festen Bestandteil der Rechnung ausweisen ist psychologisch falsch und ärgert den Gast, da er zu etwas gezwungen wird und der Belohnungseffekt nicht mehr gegeben ist.
In der Summe hat es uns dennoch sehr gut gefallen und wir würden gerne wieder kommen.

Wir waren am Sonntag, 18.09.2011 bei Wolfgan’s zum ersten Mal. Das Essen war ein Traum und das Fleisch ist so fein und super zart, auch die Beilagen wie man liest und hört. Der Service besonders Kellner Geroge Mark war sehr aufgeschlossen und spontan, wir hatten ein tolles Gespräch und viel Spass mit Ihm.
Alle die noch nie dort waren, es ist ein Muss, wenn man die Stadt besuchen geht. Es gibt nicht’s Bessers auf dem Markt.
Wir Luzerner kommen wieder und träumen jetzt schon davon!!

Just ate there yesterday for the first time to celebrate the good news from my doctor. The food is OFF THE PAGE. THE PORTERHOUSE WAS KILLER, CREAMED SPINACH INCREDIBLE!!!!!! The bread was not the best. I would definately go back there in a heart beat. I also would not get the tomato and onion again, not worth the price.
Now this is what I’m talking about when it comes to the pefect balance of GREAT food, GREAT service and GREAT ambiance. My two sons and son-in-law had the pleasure of dining at Wolfgang’s last Saturday (11/19/11). The experience was incedible from the moment we entered until we left. The hostess welcomed us with a smile and a Thank You! for coming in. We were seated pomptly and the attentive, but not imposing service began and lasted throughout the meal. The noise level was minimal and when a large party of about 30 camee in the level remained low and the service to ou table was not deminished or interupted. The manager visited our table several times to be sure we were well satisfied and he and the hostess both thanked us for our visit when we left. This is a class act and a great example of how a restauant should be run and how customers should be treated. My compliments to Wolfgang and his entire staff! Don’t miss this one…and we’ll be back.

Ich wuerde wirklich nur zu gerne die Qualitaet der Porterhouse Steaks probieren und vergleichen…Mexico City kann in der Esskultur mit New York echt mithalten und neben Morton’s und vielen anderen Steakhaeusern fehlt dann wohl nur noch Wolfgang’s
Dann bleibt mir nuch noch zu sagen:
