After 4 decades of experience, it is fair to say that Wolfgang Zwiener learned his craft well. Taking the core principles from his years as Peter Luger’s head waiter, Wolfgang didn’t just duplicate an exceptional steakhouse; he improved upon it making Wolfgang’s Steakhouse extraordinary.
Not only does Wolfgang’s serve phenomenal porterhouse steak (for one, two, three or more), but the atmosphere, the expanded menu, the service and the accessibility of the locations is appealing to even the most exciting diners. Wolfgang’s flagship Park Avenue location has enjoyed a full house since the day that it opened.
Located in the heart of midtown Manhattan, the flagship Park Avenue Wolfgang’s is splendidly situated in the former Vanderbilt Hotel dining room.
This building is a historic landmark unto itself.
With arched ceilings tiled by the famed Rafael Guastavino, the restaurant’s architecture is stunning.
Guastavino’s exquisite tile work displayed on the vaulted ceilings in blue and white, is found nowhere other than NYC.
The old world artistry and architecture of our Park Avenue location created a Golden Age atmosphere that suits Wolfgang’s traditional menu quite dramatically and encourages diners to relax and throughly enjoy their meal.

we (Gilda, Fine and myself from Munich) had the pleasure of dinning with you during our last trip to NYC Christmas 2009. We visited you together with our little daughter Fine at that time. We really enjoyed your cozy atmosphere and the perfect service. Your waiters where also very helpfull in acomodating us with our Baby.
We are big Steaklover´s and have had Steak all over the world, but your Steak was by far the best we have ever had.
We wish you all the best for your Restaurant and wish you a nice Thanks Giving from Germany.

My wife and I visited my son recently in NYC for the Memorial Day weekend and dined at your wonderful restaurant along with my brother and sister in law. It was simply a wonderful experience. My son Lou lives in NY and has dined at your restaurant many times for business. He suggested your porterhouse steak for 4 and we easily fed 5 of us. It was without a doubt the best steak I have ever eaten. My wife is a BIG fan of steak and she completely agrees.
We look forward to returning again! Many thanks for a wonderful dining experience.

OMG WHAT CAN I SAY I WENT WITH MY WIFE FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY, WE WERE VISITING NY AS MANY OTHER TIMES WE HAVE DONE BUT THIS TIME WAS SPECIAL CAUSE WE’VE NEVER BEEN TO WOLFGANG WE’VE TO MANY STEAKHOUSES BUT BY FAR THE STEAK, THE CRAB CAKES, THE BEER, THE ONION RINGS AND THE MASH POTATOES WERE FAR BEYOND GOOD THEY WERE INCREDIBLE AND AMAZING AND I CAN’T LET OUR WAITER WHO WAS AND EXCELLENT ADVISOR WHEN IT CAME THE MOMENT TO DECIDE THE PERFECT BEER TO GO ALONG WITH THE STEAK FOR ME ITS AN INCREDIBLE PLACE AND PERFECT AMBIENT TO CELEBRATE ANYTHING .

I was at Park avenue the 22 of August 2011, I must admitted that the filet mignon out of your own aging box is the world best and i have eaten a lot of those elswhere. Congratulations for those excelent steaks. But the Bread that was served with dinner was cold and not even fresh, a restaurant of this type deserves better I would appreciate a change in that and I bet most of your guests too.

today was my 2nd time at wolf gangs and it was so much better then the food I ate at Peter Lugers last week. I was say to all my Co workers that I eat with every year at Lugers, it was empty for a holiday about 15 tables and the Steak was not tender like Wolf Gangs. It is the first year that I was not happy at Lugers. keep up the good work and we will be back again and again.

Would like to thank you for taking the time to sit down and talk to my son and I.Had a delicious dinner with my son for an xmas eve eve dinner.We ate last month at your Beverly Hills Restaurant.Both restaurant had service second to none.Will definitely be going back real soon.Thanks for the bucket of SCHLAU Wolfgang!!

Had a fabulous time on my birthday Dec. 17th. My husband and I came from Philadelphia for the weekend. Just passing by we decided to stop for a drink and then went back later for dinner. Great atmosphere! We had dinner at the bar. Bartenders were so accomadating and the steaf for two, creamed spinach and wine was at its best! Thanks Wolfgang’s! We hope to be back.
